VICTOR OSARUMWENSE ASOWATA
SECRETARY GENERAL
A prolific visual and communications artist based in Lagos, Nigeria, with a background from the fine arts departments of Auchi Polytechnic and Yaba College of Technology. Two-time winner of the Wole Soyinka Award for Investigative Reporting (WSAIR) in 2021 and 2022. Recipient of the 14th Diamond Awards for Media Excellence (DAME) in 2004. Actively participates in national and international group painting and cartoon exhibitions, currently serving as the Secretary-General of the Cartoonists Association of Nigeria (CARTAN).

JIMOH B. SAMSIDEEN
TREASURER
Jimoh B. Samsideen, also known as Mr. Splendid, is an illustrator, animator, and filmmaker. Formerly a cartoonist with Business Day newspaper, he transitioned to becoming a full-time animator and content creator. He is the creative director of Splendid TV and YorubaClick TV.

Marvel Mudiaga O., aka Don Marvel, is a visual storyteller with over a decade of experience. Starting as a cartoonist, he transitioned into digital illustration, art design, comic, and animation. A mass communication graduate from AdekunleAjasin University, AkungbaAkoko, Marvel began as an editorial cartoonist at TELL Magazine. Currently, he freelances and consults for various Nigerian newspapers, magazines, TV stations, and blogs nationwide and in the diaspora.

FRANCIS UMENDU ODUPUTE

Francis UmenduOdupute is a versatile studio artist and award-winning visual storytelling journalist. He earned B.A degrees in Painting and an MFA in Painting from the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the International Institute of Journalism (IIJ), affiliated with the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.

AWOSIYAN SEGUN

AwosiyanSegun, a Fine Art graduate from Polytechnic Ibadan, specialized in painting at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. His career began in 1996 as an illustrator and cartoonist for Heart Magazine, simultaneously contributing as an editorial cartoonist for Vanguard Media. He was later employed as a senior editorial cartoonist in July 1999. Awosiyan has showcased his work in numerous local and international exhibitions.
